Layan, a third-grade student, was born with a dream like any child, until her struggle with hearing loss began years ago.
Recently, the little girl underwent a hearing test, but the result showed a decline in her condition and her need for two hearing aids to end the silence around her. The refugee family in Turkey is considering returning to Syria to follow up on the case there, but the cost still stands as an obstacle to her dreams and her family's dreams.
