Finally settled in his home after a long journey of displacement and suffering, he endured many hardships, including the loss of his wife and daughter to illness. He is living with his kids, as he is their sole provider despite his advanced age and the loss of his car, which was his only source of income. His kids are studying at university, and their educational journey might end if they cannot secure their tuition fees.
Recently, Louay started experiencing vision problems, first seeing floating spots and then a gradual loss of vision until he could no longer see. After visiting a doctor, he was informed that he needed a vitrectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the vitreous gel. However, he cannot afford any part of the surgery's cost. Not undergoing the surgery means most likely complete blindness.
With your support, we can stand by Louay's side during this difficult time and help him to restore his vision.
Do not give up on him!
