Omar, the sole provider for his family, suffers from a disability in his leg that limits his ability to work—yet he hasn’t given in to despair. Still, work is scarce, and the income barely covers anything. Debts have piled up, and life’s burdens have become heavier than he can bear.
Omar was among the first to lose his home in the war, as the regime seized it and turned it into a military post. Since that day, he has been denied his own home.
More than 13 years have passed, and Omar still can’t even afford to visit his hometown, let alone repair the house that now stands as a witness to injustice.
All Omar dreams of is the chance to feed his children with dignity and offer them a sense of security. Will someone be there to help?
