Aleppo… the capital of the north and the beating heart of Syria. A city that carried the history of civilization on its shoulders, standing tall in the face of injustice and paying the price of its dignity with destruction that touched every inch of its land.
Its ancient markets, historic neighborhoods, schools, hospitals, and homes… all bear the marks of devastation. Yet Aleppo, which endured every challenge, will not surrender today. Aleppo as its people knew it — and as the world will know it again…
For this reason, we launch today the campaign “For Aleppo”, aimed at supporting service projects and improving the quality of life in this province. The campaign seeks to enhance community participation in rebuilding what the war has destroyed, restoring infrastructure, and developing the essential services needed by the people returning to their city.
Today we answer the call and fulfill our promise… today we return to Aleppo its glory and its history.
