Allah Almighty says: “And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.” [2]Allah, may He be praised and exalted, has ordained zakah to be a means by which one brother supports another relieving his distress and easing his hardship. Today, as the need in Syria continues to grow, and as families return to their destroyed villages after long years of displacement and devastation, we launch the “Zakat al-Mal” campaign.
Through this campaign, we receive your zakah contributions, which are distributed to those entitled to them among the needy, the displaced, the sick, orphans, students of knowledge, and homeless families in accordance with the prescribed categories of zakah, throughout the year.
