Perhaps this is the most fitting way to describe what happened to Mohammed.. Because of a landmine left behind by the fallen regime, Mohammed lost both his hands and a large part of his thigh, and has endured painful health complications.
An eleven-year-old child undergoing one operation after another over the course of fifty days, knowing nothing of life anymore except operating rooms and hospital beds.
This long journey of treatment has not exhausted Mohammed alone, but has also weighed heavily on his family.. especially since he is a child who lost his father, and only his uncle is bearing the cost of treatment.
