Hope for Ghaliya—A Childhood on Pause

At just nine years old, little Ghaliya's frail body resembles that of a five-year-old due to a severe growth hormone deficiency that’s deeply affected her physically and emotionally. Her mother watches helplessly as her daughter suffers, while her father, once the family’s provider, now lives with paralysis from a stroke. Displaced from Deir ez-Zor, the family resides in Al-Bab in a donated home with no income and no support. Ghaliya deserves a chance to grow, to heal, and to hope—let’s be that hope.
