Hanan is a woman worn down by the cruelty of war. She lost her husband after a long imprisonment in Saydnaya, where his health severely deteriorated. Not long after his release, fate did not grant him much time, he passed away, succumbing to the illnesses he had contracted there. Her husband’s death left her with a heavy burden and great responsibility toward their children. Today, Hanan lives with her children in a modest borrowed home, but that simple roof does not shield her from the hardship of life. Her son works in the wholesale market for an amount that barely covers part of their most basic daily needs, forcing the family to borrow money continuously just to secure food until the end of each month. Despite all these harsh conditions, Hanan has not given up. She strives to remain steadfast for the sake of her children, carrying their worries alone after losing their only support. Today, Hanan needs a helping hand and support to continue living with dignity and to secure a better future for her children.
