In Al-Surman, where memories live in every wall, Majed — the teacher who devoted his life to educating generations — returned to find the home he once left as a haven of safety… almost destroyed. He brought his small family back to a house barely suitable for living: not enough water, unstable electricity, and no source of income. Yet despite everything he is going through, he has not abandoned his mission. He still teaches — as a volunteer — carrying his books and knocking on the doors of hope every day, believing that education is light… even in the darkest times. Majed is not asking for much… only to live with dignity, and to find someone who will stand beside him after he spent his life standing beside everyone else.
