Ahed is enduring a painful journey of chronic kidney failure, undergoing dialysis three times a week; each session drains her strength, followed by medication that burdens her even more.
Her husband, Adnan, has been worn down by severe joint degeneration. He has already undergone hip replacement and left knee surgery, and now he stands helpless before the worsening pain in his right knee, which urgently needs replacement, yet the family’s financial hardship makes treatment impossible.
They live in a modest home, with no provider except their son Ahmad, who carries the weight of a family exhausted by illness.
Despite all this pain, the family still holds on to hope… hope that a helping hand might reach them, restoring some health and some life.
