Aunt Maha carries a deep, unending pain. She was displaced from Homs to a stone camp in Kafr Lusin after losing her husband, who was martyred in a bombing. Then the earthquake that struck Syria took two of her young sons as well, leaving her today with only her two daughters and no provider at all.
One of her daughters is trying to continue her university studies. She had been relying on a sponsorship for her education, but that support stopped after the sponsor passed away. Now, her dream of graduating — the last fragile thread of hope for this family — is at real risk of being cut. A mother worn down by loss. Daughters are facing life alone.
Let’s stand beside Aunt Maha and her girls, so that heartbreak is not followed by the loss of their future as well. Your support can help cover their basic needs and keep their daughter in university, protecting what remains of their hope.
