A Collapsing Roof Over Frightened Children

After years of displacement in the camps of northern Syria, Abdulhadi returned with his family to their village, only to find their home almost completely destroyed. They tried to repair it with very limited means so it could serve as a shelter, but a strong storm destroyed what little safety remained, causing the roof to collapse. Abdulhadi works as a daily laborer with a very limited income, and the family lives in severe financial hardship. Their children now live in an unsafe environment, where falling stones and the open gap in the roof threaten their lives every day. This family urgently needs a helping hand to rebuild a safe roof that can protect their children from danger and ease the burden of their harsh living conditions, allowing them to live with at least a minimum level of safety.
