Ali… A Lifelong Journey of Treatment from Early Infancy

Ali has been living with beta thalassemia major since he was just 40 days old. He requires regular visits to a thalassemia centre every two weeks for ongoing blood transfusions to keep his condition stable. His condition demands lifelong treatment and continuous medical care, placing a heavy financial burden on his family, who rely solely on his father’s limited income. Beyond the physical challenges, Ali also carries a heavy emotional burden, living with constant anxiety about his future and how his condition may affect his social life and his ability to build a family. Ali urgently needs continued support to ensure access to treatment and to help ease both his physical suffering and emotional distress.
