A work injury completely changed his life.

Bashar's suffering did not end with his displacement and being away from his family. A few years ago, he was injured at work that resulted in pelvis fracture and hip joint damage. As a result, Bashar is unable to work and is now homeless; he spends most of his nights sleeping in one of the public parks and he is the happiest when he lies on a hospital bed after undergoing a difficult journey of treatment and a countless number of surgeries. Bashar's wounds are infected severely, and he suffers from serious complications that may end his life.
