Omar, our little engineer, has faced the cruelty of time and the harshness of circumstances. Born in Gaza on March 19, 2019, Omar lost his father to martyrdom five years after his birth. His father, who prioritized his family’s safety over his own escape, was struck down by unjust missiles in their home in northern Gaza. Omar now lives displaced with his family in the south under extremely difficult conditions. The wheels of war keep turning, the siege persists, and the displacement continues.
