Maram only dreamed of a peaceful life in a warm home under the shadow of a caring family, but the oppressor took that dream away from her once by killing her father, and another time by displacing her and her family from their city. Eventually, Maram and her family moved to the village of Mulham for orphans, where the features of the dream began to take shape again. The village provided the family with a safe haven and gave Maram the opportunity to complete her education at Gaza School.
