Yazan… a child who lost his father, but never his hope.

Yazan, a young boy from Saraqib, saw his life change far too early when his father was killed in an airstrike. Forced to flee with his mother and sisters, the family moved from Saraqib to Afrin and then to Idlib, eventually settling in a rented home that places a heavy burden on a mother left to carry everything alone. Yet despite the loss and hardship, Yazan’s dream has never faded. Now in the sixth grade at Molham School, he holds onto a powerful ambition: to become a doctor and save lives, after losing the most precious life in his own.
