    was immediately taken after a difficult C-section to be placed on a ventilator in intensive care.

    Her mother is still under the effects of the operation and its pain, 
    unaware yet of her baby’s critical condition. Jouri is in the ICU, 
    while her parents are overwhelmed with worry — 
    the mother exhausted, and the father burdened and weary, 
    not knowing how to cover the hospital costs and expenses.
