The uncle told us when we visited him at the hospital:

This man was detained for 8 years, many of which he spent in an underground solitary cell. Later, he had one of his fingers amputated in Sednaya Prison due to untreated diabetes.
We received news of his case while he was in the hospital, completely unable to cover the cost of treatment. His foot became severely infected due to lack of medical care.
He urgently needs $1,000 for treatment before his condition worsens.
