We were sitting in our office..
A female walked into our office and said: "My name is Hiba, I asked you for an appointment to visit your office" It is normal for a child to walk into our office to ask for support or volunteer some of her time. Welcome!
Her story was different and beautiful...
"My name is Hiba, two years ago I fled Syria after I was arrested and I had a vision problem and needed medical treatment. Thank God, I was able to get the medical treatment after I reached out to Molham team for their support and the educational team covered all of my needs when I decided to finish my education. I am currently a student and working to support myself. I will never forget what the team did for me to support me, therefore, I decided to start collecting money in a piggy bank to give back as a way of thanking them for standing with me."
Hiba pulled out her jar and said "Let's count the money!"
Hiba's story is one of the most beautiful stories that we come across. It gives us motivation to continue our work and a assures us that we are making a difference in people's lives. There are lots of people who need our help and your support.
This fund is dedicated toward this campaign. Anyone can either match Hiba's donation by contributing $81, or half the amount of $40. Donations collected will be designated to help an urgent medical case.
