Ismail... A Child Burned Amid Darkness and Displacement

In Karam Al-Zaytoun – Sweida, 3-year-old Ismail suffered painful burns to his face and hand after falling onto a pot of boiling milk just moments before his family was forced to flee.

With nothing but the clothes on their backs, the family escaped, leaving behind their home and everything they owned. Today, they are staying in a shelter in the Sayyida Zainab area, with no permanent home or clear future.

Like many displaced families, they are facing severe shortages of basic necessities and are in desperate need of food, clothing, healthcare, and psychological support in the face of harsh and prolonged displacement.
