Much of Homs was devastated, and the ousted Assad regime left deep scars on its neighborhoods and public facilities—scars that still stand as witnesses to the cruelty of the past.
Despite all it endured, Homs persevered for many long years, holding on to the hope of life.
On the occasion of the "Homs Development Conference", we have launched this campaign aimed at rehabilitating schools and building new ones so that children can return to their classrooms in a way befitting them.
The campaign also seeks to repair dry wells so life can return to thirsty neighborhoods and clean water can reach every home.
Additionally, it includes the restoration of public parks to provide safe spaces for families and their children.
Today, we face a shared responsibility: to restore the spirit of Homs.
Homs al-Adiyyeh, the capital of the revolution, which stood proudly against the ousted regime, deserves our participation in rebuilding and restoring it… and what a great honor that would be 💙
