Nawwarat Al-Sham has launched a campaign to light up the unserved main roads in Damascus and its countryside. Many families have returned to their destroyed towns and villages without any services or infrastructure. Lighting the main roads is a fundamental factor in ensuring safety and stability for families returning to these devastated areas.
You can contribute to this campaign as ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) to help ease the suffering of residents. The cost of one solar-powered streetlight, including installation, is $70. You can donate the full cost of a light or contribute $10 as a share toward the campaign.
