Feeding the Needy!

Aunt Aisha, a grandmother worn down by the war, lives with her missing son’s children in a modest home surrounded by need on all sides. These little children are innocent, their only “fault” being that they were born into a reality that lacks even the most basic necessities. Aunt Aisha says, her voice breaking with sorrow: "I swear, my son, most days of the week we survive on dry bread that the children collect from neighbors, and when we finally have enough for a loaf of bread, it feels like a celebration." These children’s small bodies struggle with malnutrition, just like thousands of other families facing the same hardships. Mothers do the impossible to feed their children, children go to sleep hungry, and simple dreams fade in the harsh reality of hunger. This story is not just a tale, it reflects the reality that many of our people live today. For them, we launched the “Feed the Needy” campaign to reach these forgotten families and give their children the right to food. Join us in changing their lives, as every food basket delivered is a ray of hope for a child who deserves to grow up with dignity.
