In the village of New Zizoun in rural Hama, people are still struggling to access one of the most basic necessities of life: water.
For years, the village’s water station has been out of service due to theft and destruction. Residents now rely on water delivered by trucks from neighboring villages at very high prices, often beyond their means, and the water is frequently of poor quality and unsafe to drink.
This crisis puts the lives of more than 4,200 people at risk every day and places a heavy burden on families trying to rebuild their lives after years of displacement and hardship. Returning to their homes without water means continuing suffering and delaying the dream of stability.
From this reality, the Molham volunteer team launches the Revive Zizoun Well campaign, aiming to rehabilitate the well and operate it using a solar-powered system with a central tank capable of meeting the daily and sustainable needs of the community.
Providing water is not just a service — it is a basic right and a foundation for a dignified life. By reviving the Zizoun Well, we give hope to the residents and take a real step toward bringing life back to their village.
Dozens of villages in Syria still need water, and your donation could be the one thing that saves them!
