Many mosques in Syria today suffer from neglect and damage. Some are partially destroyed, while others still stand but lack the most basic necessities such as carpets, lighting, and prayer supplies, due to years without restoration.
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an:
“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakah, and do not fear except Allah. It is they who are expected to be among the guided.” (Qur’an 9:18)
Inspired by this great meaning, we are launching the “Ramadan Waqf for a Mosque” campaign to provide essential supplies for mosques.
Throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, we will announce charitable endowment opportunities on our official pages. These can be sponsored by one donor, a family, or a group of friends coming together in الخير.
Your donation to this campaign will help provide mosques with essential needs such as carpets, air conditioners, water coolers, lighting, and prayer supplies — making your contribution a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) in every rak‘ah, every supplication, and every prostration performed in this blessed month.
This campaign is an opportunity for your giving to continue even beyond Ramadan.
