In a faraway place, along a long road that passes through many cities and countries, a bicycle will move — and with it, hope for hundreds of students in Syria.
Alaa, a young Syrian man, decided to take on a different journey from Oslo to Damascus on his bicycle. The trip will last three months. He carries a simple message: education is worth traveling long distances for.
Alaa was once a child who had to leave his country. He was given the chance to study in his new home, and it changed his life. Today, he is returning to give the same opportunity to others.
In Syria, more than 2.4 million children are out of school. Millions more study in difficult conditions or without a proper learning environment.
Donate and help us repair Al-Abbadah School in the Damascus countryside, so we can bring life back to it for hundreds of students.
