It endured what its enemies could not overcome, and for that, it was punished by bombardment after bombardment, aircraft following aircraft until not a single stone was left standing and nothing remained but ruin and devastation.Today, the village shows no signs of life, yet its people still carry the hope of returning home. Years of displacement have taken their toll, leaving families unable to repair their homes or rebuild what little remains of their village.
