Taha, who was born in 1985, and his family have been displaced from the city of Deir Ezzor to the countryside of Aleppo since 2017, fleeing bombardment and fear in search of a safer life. Taha lives in the city of Azaz in a shop that is uninhabitable and has very poor living circumstances. Taha tries to teach English to students in the shop where he lives in order to provide a living for his six children, but what he earns is insufficient to meet their basic requirements. Furthermore, one of his children has cerebral atrophy, while his daughter has a growth deficiency.
