Basma experienced many misfortunes but overcame them because her daughters need her. Basma lived a simple life with her daughters and husband until he died in an artillery bombardment. Basma was forced to move to her parents’ house to mourn there and was very lucky because her house was bombed and destroyed during her absence. Basma later moved to Lebanon, got remarried, and gave birth to two daughters. Her difficult life began when her husband suffered from a brain stroke that led to paralysis.
