In his early years, his afflictions began, and Wael got paralyzed. A wrong jump into a water pool led to a fracture in the cervical part of his vertebrae, leading to paralysis from the neck and down. An urgent surgery was performed on him to try to save as much motor function as possible, but the greatest tragedy was when he woke up and found out that he lost the ability to move completely. A tragedy that shocked Wael, and his mother, who happens to be the only breadwinner after the death of his father. The accident left her in deep grief over her young son, who became confined to a wheelchair. Wael needs a wheelchair that makes life easier for him and for his mother, whose body is no longer able to fully support Wael and help him in his daily life activities.
Your donations can ease part of the burden Wael and his mother are carrying!
