In a small tent devoid of basic necessities, Aunt Makkia lives with her son Wael, who suffers from a herniated disc and fractured vertebrae, preventing him from working and supporting his ill mother. Aunt Makkia is completely paralyzed and blind due to an eye disease that requires a surgery far beyond their means.
The family relies on aid for their livelihood, which is insufficient, especially given Makkia's additional needs. Wael struggles between caring for his mother's special requirements, which he sometimes feels ashamed of, and his poor health and living conditions, which delay his marriage and make it almost impossible with the mounting debts. The family has sought help, and Aunt Makia awaits a glimmer of hope. Will someone help restore her sight?
