Nadia lives with her family in a home that is uninhabitable, as shown in the picture, with no doors or windows. Their financial situation is extremely poor, and they cannot afford to buy gas for cooking, so they rely on a heater for both cooking and warming up the house.
Her husband's recent illness has had a negative impact on them. Her son, who used to work, went to accompany his father during his treatment in Syria. Nadia now works as a cleaner to cover her rent and daily expenses. During our visit, we saw her cooking without meat or spices, as she could not afford them.
