Mohyeddin suffers from chronic autoimmune diseases: dermatomyositis, Sjogren’s syndrome, and rehumatoid arthritis juveniles. His body is quietly breaking down, his immunity growing weaker day by day, while the medications are heavy and the relapses frequent. But the pain is not limited to the body. This man in his sixties lost two of his children in the war, and was displaced from Aleppo in 2012 to settle in Qabasin with his wife, his widowed daughter, and her two children. In a small home that barely fits them, he now lives leaning on prayers. In a hoarse voice, he said: "I can’t stand up anymore… I just want to stay by my daughters’ side. I don’t want them to be alone." With your support, we can restore some of his health and give him hope to overcome this hardship.
