Aliya moved from Tadef to Al-Bab, where she found a small shelter for her six children. Since 2023, everything in their lives has changed… Her husband suddenly passed away from a stroke, leaving her with a heavy burden no single heart could bear.
She cannot go out to work, and leave her little children alone, and she has no source of income. Aliya relies on small acts of kindness and the help of her neighbors just to provide food for her children. Today, she stands in a rented house, struggling to protect her children from hunger and cold, but the weight on her shoulders is far greater than her strength.
