Wassim was suddenly struck by chickenpox, which left painful marks on his body despite ointments and painkillers.
His condition worsened, and he began to suffer from severe pain in his legs, leaving him unable to stand or sit. After visiting the doctor and undergoing MRI and nerve tests, it was revealed that he has Guillain-Barré Syndrome – an acute inflammatory demyelinating neuropathy.
Today, Wassim is in urgent need of essential medication that he cannot afford. He is unemployed, and the family’s only supporter earns a meager salary that barely covers their basic needs.
