In Al-Nahda camp, Muhannad lives in a small home after severe injuries left him unable to work. In 2015, he was hit in southern Aleppo by shells that caused the loss of his left eye, shattered the bones of his foot, and damaged his knee joint, while his brother was killed in the same attack. In 2019, he was again injured in Saraqib by bombing that harmed his right foot and abdomen, causing bone fractures and intestinal tears. Today, Muhannad struggles to meet basic needs, relying on aid that is insufficient to sustain his children, awaiting a helping hand to ease the burden of suffering on him and those with him.
