After years of displacement, Mohammed finally returned to his hometown, which he had longed for deeply. But what he found was not the home he left behind — only piles of stones and collapsed walls. With nothing else to turn to, he set up a tent inside what remained of his house to live in with his two children and parents — as if he had never left the life of tents.
He spends his days working a job that barely provides enough for their daily food, while his sick father continues to work despite his age and exhaustion, and his mother battles illness in silence.
Despite the harshness of their situation, Mohammed still dreams of rebuilding his home one day — to give his family a roof to protect them and warmth to ease the coldness of life.
