Jamila is a patient, resilient woman who lost her husband — a martyr who died in prison — and has since carried the weight of life alone, raising her children and facing the harshness of exile after being forced to flee her homeland.
She spent years in refugee camps before moving to the city of Marash, where she now lives with her children in a small, old house whose cracked walls reflect the hardships of their days. With only a few pieces of simple furniture and limited means, life remains difficult. The small assistance she receives from the Red Crescent and occasional kind donors barely covers their most basic needs.
With your support, Jamila’s family can find a sense of stability and warmth in a life marked by struggle — and regain the comfort and security every family deserves.
