Abdullah endured the bitterness of imprisonment in Sednaya Prison, and the day of his release was far from joyful. He emerged physically broken, unable to walk, and had to be carried to the car by his family. Since then, fatigue has never left him—he suffers from nerve weakness, severe joint pain, and the torture he endured left him with a complete loss of teeth. In the months after his release, he tried to regain his strength, but his dire circumstances kept him from proper treatment. Today, he works intermittently in a workshop, his body too frail for consistent labor, yet he struggles tirelessly to support himself. This family, worn down by years of hardship, now needs a compassionate hand to offer aid, to restore warmth and hope, and to give Abdullah a glimpse of the stability that was taken from him.
