The family lives in an old house lacking the most basic necessities, filled with dampness and mold, and without the essentials needed for a decent life. The father and his children endure harsh living conditions, weighed down by the high costs of treatment for his son Mohammed, leaving the family with virtually no resources.
Two years ago, Mohammed was caught in a shell explosion that shattered his face. He underwent several reconstructive surgeries through the support of an organization, but his treatment remains incomplete. Today, he needs ongoing medical care and specialized treatment, costs the family cannot possibly afford given their difficult living situation.
