Mohammad lives with his family in a house damaged by the earthquake. He is married and has four small children, and works as a concrete labourer for a daily wage that doesn’t even cover the cost of bread… On top of supporting his own family, Mohammad is also responsible for his late brother’s family. His brother was killed in an airstrike just one day after the liberation, leaving behind a two-month-old baby in need of milk, diapers, and basic necessities that Mohammad simply cannot afford. Debts have piled up on his shoulders, and the family lives without any proper heating. Their original home was destroyed by bombing, forcing them to move into this fragile, crumbling house that barely keeps out the cold.
