Samar’s life was turned upside down the day her husband left for work and never came back. He was kidnapped, and a ransom was demanded that she could not afford. Days later, he was found murdered. From that moment on, she began a harsh journey of widowhood, raising three children with no provider.
To survive, Samar took a low-paying job serving at a local mosque just to secure basic food for her family. Her eldest son tried to rescue the family’s situation by traveling abroad for work, but he was involved in a serious accident that left both of his legs broken. He is now unable to work and remains stranded far from home, without the means to return or receive proper medical treatment. Her second son lost his job, and the younger children are still in school, quietly carrying the weight of their family’s struggles.
Today, Samar is overwhelmed by debt and faces the loss of her home after it was sold. She has nowhere else to take her children. The house is nearly empty of furniture, and cold and dampness surround them on all sides. Samar is not asking for the impossible—only safety, a roof to protect her children, and a compassionate hand to help restore stability to a family worn down by years of loss and hardship.
