Mohammad lives with his wife and young child in a makeshift room at a relative’s home after their house was reduced to rubble. They returned to settle beside what remains of their home, with no steady source of income and little to rely on beyond the occasional kindness of those around them.
Mohammad suffers from severe juvenile diabetes and its devastating complications. Gangrene has already claimed most of his left hand, while rheumatoid inflammation and relentless pain in his knees have left him unable to work and trapped in constant suffering.
