Zahra lives with her husband and children in a tent whose roof is made of tarp, offering little protection from the cold of winter. The ground holds nothing more than simple bedding.
They were displaced from their city, leaving behind everything they owned, and were forced to begin a harsh life in the camp.
They have two daughters who developed cerebral atrophy at the age of two, leaving them unable to move and in need of constant care and special supplies, including diapers, clothing, and medications.
The father works irregular daily labor jobs, and his small income barely covers the family’s basic needs, let alone the costs of illness. Meanwhile, the mother stays beside her daughters day and night, her heart weighed down by helplessness in the face of their constant needs.
This is a humanitarian case that requires support to ease the burden of illness on the family and to help them endure the harshness of their living conditions.
