Uncle Nadeem lives with his wife alone in a basic home after reaching old age without any provider. They rely on a small pension that barely covers the most basic needs, and often depend on charitable help to ease some of their living expenses.
In addition to financial hardship, both suffer from serious health issues. Uncle Nadeem has high blood pressure and has undergone nine eye surgeries that resulted in losing about 80% of his vision, making him dependent on others for many daily tasks. His wife suffers from severe joint pain and needs joint replacement surgery to regain mobility.
Between frail bodies and limited means, the elderly couple continues their days with patience and hope, wishing for a helping hand to ease their suffering.
