After years of displacement, Aunt Suad and her husband returned to their home in Kafranbel to find it damaged and empty. They managed to repair a small part of it to serve as their shelter, but life remains harsh, there is no provider and no source of income, and they spend their days in heavy silence marked by helplessness and need. Aunt Suad suffers from kidney failure and chronic illnesses, while her husband has high blood pressure and severe back problems that limit his mobility. With advancing age, illness has become a constant companion, intensifying their pain and making even the simplest aspects of life more difficult. In a worn-out home that mirrors their condition, the couple passes their days between pain and patience… waiting for a compassionate hand to ease this heavy burden and bring some sense of comfort back to their hearts.
