After years of displacement, Grandfather Mohammad and his wife returned to their home in Kafranbel only to find it nearly destroyed. All that remained was a small room they repaired over the rubble to serve as their shelter. They now live there without any source of income or provider, facing the harshness of life with frail bodies and the weight of old age. He suffers from severe osteoporosis that has left him bedridden, while his wife moves with difficulty, relying on a walking aid. Between illness and helplessness, their days pass in a silent struggle with pain and need. In that cold room, they live out the rest of their years, waiting for a compassionate hand to ease some of the harshness of their days.
