Zaid... the war took his mother and left him with a disability

In 2013, Zaid’s home was hit in an airstrike that killed his mother and older brother. Zaid also lost a limb, marking the beginning of a long and painful displacement journey for the family. Today, even after returning to their recently repaired home, the family is still struggling with harsh living conditions and mounting debt.

Over time, the prosthetic limb Zaid uses has worn out, and he is now in urgent need of a new one to help him move around and continue his life normally.
