Omran is a father of four children. During the war, he was shot in his head and chest, which changed his life upside down. Omran was urgently hospitalized in Turkey in order to receive the required treatment and surgeries. It wasn't easy for him to leave his family in Syria and start a challenging phase of his life. So far, Omran underwent about 32 surgeries in different regions of Turkey. Most of them were in his head and heart. His jaw was mostly damaged and the hearing and speech abilities have been negatively affected by the injuries. Omran can't easily drink, chew or swallow. He also uses a hearing aid, which causes him physical and mental exhaustion. Unfortunately, it hasn't ended yet, as Omran awaits another surgery of his jaw. His treatment may take more than one year. Moreover, Omran's features have changed and he became bedridden. He currently lives in a treatment center for the wounded and needs financial support to secure living and transportation costs for him and his family. No one could bear what Omran has been through. Let's help him and make a difference in his life!
